Casual/Dressy Men's Shoes?

Hi everybody! Here is the deal, I turned 19 last week and I decided it%26#039;s time to dress a bit more adult-like. I%26#039;ve always worn sneakers with my jeans but I feel like switching over to casual dressy type shoes. It seems to be pretty fashionable nowadays too, which definitely doesn%26#039;t hurt.





So I was wondering if the wise and merciful fashion gurus would help me find a nice pair of black casual-dressy shoes.





Oh and in case this information is helpful, I almost exclusively wear slim bootcut jeans.

Casual/Dressy Men%26#039;s Shoes?
Oxfords are the way to go, they%26#039;re very versatile, I personally love the quality of the shoes from Timberland%26#039;s. I swear by my 5 year old Timberland women%26#039;s oxfords. :)

Reply:Well, most guys about 19 that I know wear Hollister flip-flops from like April to October...really and then the rest of the year-or whenever they feel like they switch to Converse...Honestly if your going for a bit more casual/dressy look, most guys would rather change shirts than shoes...like buttons ups and brand names like Hollister...

Reply:First, decide how and when you plan to wear these new dog covers. Then go to Land%26#039;s End or Zappo%26#039;s on line and look at the styles they have. I bought a really nice pair of all leather burgundy / ox blood slip ons from Land%26#039;s End. Their dressy enough for me to wear to work but they also dress down enough for me to wear khakis or even CLEAN jeans on the weekend. Plus it%26#039;s great to be able to slip them on and kick them off with no problems. You may find that ox blood and tan are more %26quot;convertible%26quot; than black or dark brown. And if you really want to look trendy or dated, get a pair of tan %26amp; brown saddle shoes. Hush Puppies used to have some ones. And for heaven sake, don%26#039;t buy them at Wally World or Shoe Carnival. Those are throw aways, not daily drivers.
